Just done a fabulous two days with Paul in the scottish highlands. Paul has found a wonderful place with lots of red deer against stunning autumnal colours. He also showed me some beautiful places and scenery around Glen Coe and showed me how to do landscape photography. Highly recommend this trip

Just spent a fantastic weekend in the Scottish Highlands with Paul. Two action packed days spent photographing rutting stags in the morning and evening and capturing the magnificence of the Scottish Highlands during the day.
Paul worked tremendously hard to make sure we got the best opportunities all round, it was a great experience as well as great fun and we all went home with our memory cards bursting with wonderful images.
Thanks Paul ....

Having visited Paulโ€™s Red Squirrel and Little Owl hides on many occasions it was great to be able to join one of his trips to Mull to photograph otters.
Paul is knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about getting you successful results. Of the three days in the beautiful surroundings there was not one without at least one really successful photo opportunity. Though that can never be guaranteed in wildlife photography much was down to Paulโ€™s determination to find opportunities. We were also shown other sites with wildlife in addition to otters, an added bonus.
Iโ€™d highly recommend Paul and the variety of sites and trips he runs.

My friend and I spent 8th October with Paul for a Red Squirrel workshop. We had a fabulous day. Paul was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and, above all ,both helpful and interested in our photography on the day. He advised on settings etc, helped check results and suggested adjustments for better shots. I cannot recommend highly enough. We will certainly book other workshops with Paul

Whilst searching online for locations to photograph Red Squirrels i discovered Paul's website. It looked promising so I decided to book a 1 to 1 session to give the best Variety of backgrounds. On arriving at the Woodland hide I was greatly impressed with the setup and Paul's expertise in making the whole area very photogenic. The reflection hide is set up to provide stunning images too. Paul is very knowledgeable and great company to spend the time with.. Despite it being a very wet morning the Squirrels did not disappoint and I left with so many Images far better than I had hoped..
After discovering I am now looking forward to another visit to another of Paul's hides in the near future.
For anyone looking to photograph red Squirrels I would recommend Paul's hides as a must..

Just returned from a brilliant Mull otter workshop trip. Despite wicked weather conditions over the three days, Paul successfully spotted a number of otters and positioned us in the best vantage points to capture some awesome photos. A magical Mull experience - thanks to Paul, a lovely, generous guy and accomplished photographer and guide. Thank you - we'll be back soon!

What an amazing experience with Paul at the red squirrel hide yesterday. Paul's expertise with the wildlife, and understanding how best to capture images, is second to none. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much for a truly awesome day, and for all your kind help in making sure we got those all-important shots.

I spent yesterday with Paul and the Red Squirrels. What a great experience, although the light was poor, I thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Very friendly and good advice on settings and other information regarding post processing. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Paul to other photographers and will visit again.
Keep up the good work.
Regards Trevor.

I booked a Red Squirrel workshop with Paul having been impressed his website and the images that he takes.
I am new to wildlife photography and Paul helped me with the best settings to use. I was amazed with the activity of these creatures and managed to get some great shots with Pauls help. Paul set two hides for me, a jump & stone wall set.
All in all I had a great day & got some super photographs. I hope to be doing more with Paul in the future & would recommend his workshops.

Having visited Pauls squirrel hide in Yorkshire 2 years ago I booked a trip with Paul to the Isle of Mull. I cannot recommend either more highly. Mull was just totally amazing. Paul tracked down Otters, buzzards, hen harrier, fly catcher, stonechats, deer, to name just a few of what we see. The amount of wildlife was incredible . Pauls knowledge of wildlife is so impressive. During my stay we went to Staffa and Lunga where the puffins totally take your breath away along with the scenery. Two trips out to search for sea eagles was totally amazing. We had such a great time and I cannot recommend this trip highly enough, for any photographer/wildlife enthusiast you will be in your element.

My wife and I have just returned from Mull having spent 4 days with Paul on his Mull wildlife workshop. Paul's knowledge of the islands species and where to find them is first rate.
The otters were the highlight of the trip simply because our group had an unusually long close encounter with a mother and cub. We were privileged to spend over an hour with the pair and thousands of photos were taken between us. We went back a couple of days later and encountered a dog otter, again we had close up view and spent about thirty minutes watching him hunt, feed and preen. Another one of Pauls sites also gave us a view of an otter.
The trips to the sea eagles and puffins were amazing. To have a private group charter to photograph the eagles makes all the difference when it comes to moving around the boat and getting the desired shot. The Lunga puffin trip gave us extended time on the island after everybody else had left which was incredible.
Other trips around the island produced sightings of red deer, wheatear, stonechat, great northern diver, pipets and the list goes on.
Paul was always on hand to advise about camera settings, exposure, shutter speed etc. Thoroughly recommended as are his wildlife hides, the red squirrel hide has to be the best in the UK by far.
Many thanks from us both for an exceptional trip and we will see you again soon.

Had another great day with Paul phtgraphing hs little Owl. Paul was as ever the professional setting me up in the hide and checking if I needed anything. I had a wait for the Owl but had the added bunus of a couple of Hares making their way down the field and in to my view. The little Owl did not let me down either waiting on the wall and then swooped down on to one of Pauls great posts..A great morning would recommend this workshop very highly. Thanks again Paul.

I have just come back from a great day out photographing moorland birds with Paul. We were helped by a beautiful Spring day in the Northern Dales and were able to get great views, and photographs of red grouse, lapwing, meadow pipit - all at point blank range, as well as wheatear and curlew and little owl. A beautiful golden plover in full breeding plumage put in a welcome appearance later in the day. Paul also took me to three quiet dipper spots where we were able to sit and watch these fantastic birds at close ranges. All that, plus the fact that Paul is a great guy to travel with, once you tune into the accent (!), makes this a highly recommended day out with plenty of variety

I did the full one to one workshop which included the woodland hide, reflection hide and the amazing jumping set up. Paul was very professional and set up each hide perfectly. the squirrels and bird life was abundant and the photo opportunities endless. The place itself is so tranquil and in touch with nature. really enjoyed myself and will be doing more photo days with Paul--highly recommended

My second visit to the hide, and agin it didnโ€™t disappoint. I was lucky to have snow again, and the reds were loving every minute.
This setup is one of the best, the wildlife is fantastic, nothing to disturb you or them, and Paul is so knowledgable, not only about the little guys, but also readily available to offer support on setup.

One of the things I was so impressed about was Paulโ€™s commitment to the conservation of the area. Paul commits so much of his time to the surroundings. Wildlife means the world to him, itโ€™s not a commercial gain.

Thank you Paul, I hope to see you soon and keep up the great work.

I had been wanting to visit ever since I saw several videos on Youtube that featured the hides and the squirrels, and I was not dissapointed.

I spent a decent amount of time with the squirrels and they are obviously extremely well cared for and looked after. They are very friendly and inquisitve and are great subjects to shoot.

There are a lot of woodland birds that visit the hides, too, giving you plenty of oppourtunies to boost your portfolio and get some great shots.

Paul gave me some advice to start of with for camera settings and a bit of a brief on the squirrel behvaiours to get the best shots, then left me to it for the rest of the day.

I definitely recommend a visit. Paul is a great guy and is very passionate about these animals and puts a lot of time into making sure they thrive.

I am already planning a return trip to the hides.

The added bonus is that there is no phone signal, which means it is just you and the critters. Bliss.
