Join myself for 4 full days on the magical island of Mull. The Isle Of Mull is the second largest island in the Inner Hebrides and a haven for wildlife.
During this 4 day / 5 nights tour we will be boarding the Lady Jayne twice to photograph the White Tailed Eagle (Sea Eagle) as it dives into the sea to catch fish.
We will also visit the tiny island of Lunga which is a paradise for seabirds with thousands of Puffins along with Guillemots, Kittiwakes, Razorbills, Shags and much more.
We will spend 6 hours on the island which gives us ample time to photograph all of the species on this charming island.
Itinerary
Day 1. Arrive on Mull. We will be staying in Scots Cottage, an 8 berth cottage situated in Salen.
We can meet up in the evening for dinner and discuss our next 4 days or you can spend time by yourself and have a quick explore of the island.
Day 2. We will head out after breakfast for a 3 hour excursion on board the Lady Jayne to photograph the White Tailed Eagle.
Afterwards we will head around in island keeping a look out for Otters and other wildlife which may include Golden Eagles, Buzzards, Short Earled Owls, Hen Harrier, Red Deer, Stonechats, Whitethroat, Oystercatch, Common Sandpiper, Heron, Wheatear but to name a few.
Day 3. We will head out after breakfast and take a boat out the Lunga which takes around 2 hours, we will then spend 4 hours on this magical little island to photograph Puffins and lots of other sea birds that are around. We will return back to my car around 6:30pm.
Day 4. We will head out again in search of Otters and other wildlife before heading back out on the Lady Jayne to photograph the White Tailed Eagle.

Fitness
There is very little walking required on this tour as most days your photography will be done either from a car or a boat. The only exception to this is the Lunga day, whereupon arrival at Lunga you will need to negotiate a short walk over the boulder beach. This beach can be slippery on occasion however you will receive assistance if required. This is followed by a short walk up a very short but relatively steep slope to reach the Seabirds.

View My Other Workshops

Join me in the Cairngorms National Park for a 2 day / 3 nights workshop photographing some of the Cairngorms most iconic birds and mammals, including the Mountain Hare, Crested Tit, Snow Bunting & more.

This is an amazing chance to photograph Badgers in the late evening as they are coming out to feed.
With room for two people (or 4 with an additional hide), the workshop will start around 30 minuteds before sunset, between March and September and is located in North Yorkshire.

Spend the morning with International Award Winning Photographer Paul Fowlie learning how to photograph wildlife. This is an ideal workshop for those starting off in photography and looking to photograph wildlife.
The workshop will take place twice a month from April to September at my hides in Hawes, North Yorkshire.

Dippers are one of those birds everyone loves. We’ll spend 4 hours at 2 destinations in the Yorkshire Dales, as they go about their daily routine.

This workshop is for four nights with three days photography. We will travel to Sweden on the Thursday then spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the hides departing on Monday morning back to the UK.

The Red Grouse is an iconic game bird found on moorland, they are a shy bird so at times not easy to photograph.
I have a wealth of experience photographing Red Grouse so will take you to a great location in the Yorkshire Dales to photograph them.

This is an outstanding opportunity to photograph this magnificent mammal in their natural habitat. We will be looking to capture the Red Stag Deer, on their rut, bellowing close up and at distance with the Highlands in the background, we may even be lucky and get some action shots.

The Lake District is one of the most beautiful places in Great Britain, with it’s natural outstanding beauty and also breathtaking lakes and mountains. These were made famous by Alfred Wainwright, in his 7 Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells. Therefore Lake District photography is one of my favourite things to do. So why not join me on a Lake District Photography Workshop, and experience this wonderful area of country yourself?

We have Waterfalls, Dry Stone Walls, the Stone Barns at Muker to the amazing Limestone pavements of Malham. In fact the Yorkshire Dales is one of the most beautiful places in the UK, and why Yorkshire Dales photography is so popular.
